You Can Garden For Life with Adaptive Gardening

  • Albany Community Center 1249 Marin Avenue Albany, CA, 94706 United States (map)

When Toni Gattone relocated from Chicago to Northern California, she ignited her passion for gardening and never looked back. Everything in her career has led her to be a speaker and writer today.

For sixteen years, Toni was in sales in Corporate America and when she was at the 3M Company, she conducted public seminars for management executives. At one seminar, she was recruited to sell and conduct presentation skills training for Decker Communications in San Francisco.

She joined the National Speakers Association and served on Northern California Board of Directors as their Program Chair. Toni presented “The Power of Visual Presentations” to 500 professional speakers at NSA’s annual convention.

At Learning International, she was a Key Account Executive, she sold professional selling skills, management and customer service training to corporate executives.

When the Loma Prieta earthquake hit San Francisco in 1989, Toni decided to leave the corporate world and working downtown. A few months later, she created Toni Gattone & Associates, a manufacturer’s representative sales organization specializing in selling garden, gift and home decor to the retailers throughout California and Nevada.

Toni became a Marin Master Gardener in 2011 and discovered a wonderful community of like-minded people. She was asked to be their Public Seminars co-chair for two years and that’s when she began presenting seminars to gardeners.

Toni conducted numerous seminars on Edible Landscaping and Growing Edibles in Containers. Her flagship presentation: You Can Garden for Life! with Adaptive Gardening has been exceptionally well received with Master Gardeners, garden clubs, senior groups and nurseries, this is her favorite passion to share with gardeners everywhere.

In 2016, Toni presented at the three top flower and garden shows in the country: The Northwest/Seattle, Chicago and San Francisco Flower & Garden Shows.
